Earthmover
Earthmover - Eve's first
song, written after receiving a letter from John
Williamson in 2000. We sent John a copy of the R&D
Australiana Show Album to thank him for his wonderful
songs and lyrics. He suggested we put our own life
experiences into our work. One night, not long after,
Eve went to work on night duty at our local Hospital.
Next morning she presented me with Earthmover, saying
" here put music to this". She knew all about Earthmovers
having lived with one for 15 Years. This is a great
fun song with a few connotations to put a smile
on the faces of all those blokes who work in the
dirt. We've recorded two versions, why? We couldn't
help ourselves.
